Rev Charles Sugden, Rector
Charles has been our Rector since Nov 2015. He loves the Lord Jesus, having come to believe and know Him as a teenager. He is married to Kath, and they currently live in Stapleton, where he also serves as Rector. Charles’ interests outside work include music, cricket and golf.
Kate Davison, Licensed Lay Minister
Kate came to Frenchay before the birth of her first child and has been here ever since. She is responsible for building links with the community.
Mike Lee, Licensed Lay minister
Mike is originally from London but grew up in Essex. He left home at 16 to join the RAF and spent the 26 years in various locations including Germany. He moved to Bristol in 1995 and is currently busy trying to retire. He married the lovely Paula in 2016 in Frenchay Church.
Rev Judith Lee, Associate Minister
Judith came to Frenchay in 2003. It became her spiritual home and she undertook training to become an Ordained Local Minister in 2005. Judith retired in 2014 – but there’s no such thing as retirement!
Sylvia Perry, Churchwarden
Sylvia started worshipping at Frenchay Parish Church in late 1993 and became a committed member of the congregation. In that time she has served on PCC and for some years as its Secretary before taking on the fulfilling role of Churchwarden.
Jo Hughes, Youth and Children’s coordinator
Jo is our childrens’ activites co-ordinator. She has been coming to Frenchay church since her marriage to Ed 10 years ago. She is a busy mum to 2 young boys, a keen musician and is training to be a primary school teacher.
Heather Broom, Pastoral Care coordinator
Heather came to live in Frenchay in 1992 and worked for many years at Frenchay Hospital. She would be glad to hear from you if you have any pastoral needs or prayer requests.
